On Thursday 1st March Motion returns to RoadTrip for the second instalment of its new monthly residency. As always we bring you the best in tech house, progressive and techno continuing from last month with a more relaxed party vibe.
Headlining this month is Justin Steel, a London based DJ/producer who’s had success releasing tracks on labels such as Stripped Recordings, Endemic Digital, Cubism, Influential House, Atlant Digital & Hype Muzik. Justin made his Motion debut last summer and didn’t disappoint, not only is he a great producer but a fantastic DJ as well. We can’t wait for his return!
Motion residents Sam Hedworth & Darren Lee Fenton had a fantastic 2011 playing gigs right across the capital at Motion, Ministry Of Sound, Legacy, Oxjam and Electronic Sessions as well as playing the long running Empathy clubnight in Bristol. Playing their trademark Motion sound of tech house, progressive and techno alongside names such as Guy J, Hernan Catteneo, Danny Howells, Anthony Pappa, King Unique, Marc Marzenit, Jody Wisternoff and Jim Rivers, their reputation continues to grow.
Completing the line-up is Olly Holmes. Olly started DJing in the mid 90’s but his DJ career started taking off when he promoted the Hi-jack clubnight in Oxford. Through his love to party Olly decided to move down to London and in the last 18months he has exploded onto the club circuit and is going from strength to strength establishing a name for himself on the progressive / tech house scene. He’s a regular at the Electronic Sessions parties at Ministry of Sound and their legendary boat parties along the Thames. He has also played the main room at Pacha and numerous bars around the city. Some of the headline DJ’s that he’s played alongside include Guy J, Dave Seaman and Max Graham. He has also featured on the same nights as Sasha, Danny Howells, Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo.
It promises to be another great monthly midweek party so come down for a few beers and some quality electronic music…
